I. Setting Up Your Page
A. Center the words: Works Cited.II. Font and style
B. Double space before starting citations.
C. Page Number should be in the upper right hand corner 1" from the top and flush with the right margin.

A. Use a plain font, such as Times New Roman.III. Citations
B. Use a 12 point size.
C. Underline titles of books, magazines, encyclopedias and CD-ROMs.
D. Use quotation marks around the titles of articles in magazines, newspapers, reference books, encyclopedias and internet pages.
E. Double Space the entire list, both within and between entries.

A. Alphabetize by author's last name.( If no author, use first word in citation.)
B. Use hanging indents. (In word, set up by going to Format -- Paragraph -- Indents and spacing -- Indentation -- Special -- Hanging)
C. Use a period at the end of each citation.
D. Check punctuation of each entry against examples.
