The US II history course focuses on 20th century history, the present government and current issues.  The course content begins with the study of the government by using the Constitution as a "Living Document" and continues with WW II to the present.  This course is designed to strengthen students' knowledge of their country and government.

Students will use eyewitness accounts, narrative, primary sources materials, literature and art to understand the issues of US history.  Editorial cartoons are used so the students are able to analyze the issues and events that are shaping our current history and government.  This course will help students study modern America in detail in order to participate as responsible citizens in today's society.
