Hello! The Basic Skills Improvement Program at the Mary S. Shoemaker School follows an in-class teaching model believing that all children benefit from individual or small group support. Children do not leave the classroom for this additional help. They are given supplemental instruction which correlates with the regular classroom instruction and specific skills needed for advancement.
