Welcome to Mrs. DuBois' web site! I am currently working as an In-Class Resource teacher in Danielle Dickson's 4th grade class. I am in there for the entire day.
In math, we use the Trailblazer's Math series. This series provides many hands-on math experiences. We will work with collecting, graphing, and analyzing data, addition and subtraction, multiplication, division and problem, geometry, and problem solving.
In the Language Arts, we will work on reading comprehension, spelling and grammar skills. We are also reading and completing activities for the book, Tales of A Fourth Grade Nothing, by Judy Blume. We will be writing a personal narrative as well as a variety of other writing pieces.
In science, we will be working on Structures of Life, Land and Water, and Energy. We do many hands-on activities throughout the year. Remember to ask you child what new and exciting things we are doing in science. You can also check the weekly newsletter for our activities.
Social Studies finds us learning about New Jersey and map skills this year. We will discuss our state government, resources found in New Jersey, native people of New Jersey, and other things that are unique to our state.
Please remember to check your child's assignment book each night for homework and important notes.

My schedule finds me in Danielle Dickson's room for most of the day.
