8th Grade Language Arts Class !

Hello!  Thanks for visiting my website.  I began teaching 8th grade language arts in Woodstown in 1993 after graduating from Pitman High School and Rowan University.  Our class integrates literature, writing, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, listening, ASK8  preparation, and research skills. Opportunities are provided for students to become more effective in all areas of communication. Different strategies such as cooperative learning, the Accelerated Reading Program, multicultural awareness, critical thinking, computer technology, and instilling good self-esteem are incorporated into our curriculum. Students will demonstrate language competency by using English effectively and confidently.
