Math
The goal of Mth Trailblazers is to create an educational experience, which children become flexible mathematical thinkers who see the connections between math they learn in school and the thinking they do in everyday life.
In first grade the students will be working on the following skills: exploring shapes, adding and subtracting to solve problems, grouping and counting numbers to 100, measuring objects, patterns and symmetry, grouping by tens, exploring cubes and volumes, exploring multiplication and division and lastly learning to recognize 3-D shapes.
