"The capacity to inspire is one of the teacher's greatest offerings."
Welcome Parents, Students, Friends, Colleagues, etc. My name is Jennifer Battaglia. I am a fifth grade teacher at Woodstown Middle School. I would like to welcome Woodstown Middle School's class of 2006. I hope they are as excited about entering middle school as I am about meeting all of them. I think you will find that this is a great learning place, full of fun and excitement. Together, we will embark on a thrilling adventure - 5th grade.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MRS. BATTAGLIA
I teach Language Arts, Math and Science. This will be my 6th year teaching 5th grade.
I have a husband named Brian, and two "children", a chocolate labrador retriever named, "Zeus", and a cat named "Sonnie". Mr. Battaglia and I are also very excited, as we are expecting our first real baby in January.
I grew up in Salem County, graduated from Penns Grove High School, obtained my teaching degree from Rowan University, and began teaching here in Woodstown. I love teaching and school, and hopefully after spending time in my classroom, you will enjoy school as much as I do.
I have designed this page with intentions of keeping you updated on all of the fun we are having here at school. By checking this page you will keep updated on both grade level and classroom projects. I hope you enjoy!!!
Also included is my homework hotline number, voice mail extension, and e-mail. You are encouraged to contact me at any time with questions or comments, as I believe the success of a child depends on a strong partnership between parent and teacher.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR HOMEROOM ALL-STARS
What is a Homeroom All-Star you ask? A Homeroom All-Star is picked every month beginning in September and lasting through to May. Each month, a student from our homeroom will be picked to represent us as the school's "Homeroom All-Star". Students picked for Homeroom All-Star may do things like, complete all homework assignments, try their very best at school work, help classmates when needed, have a postitive attitude, be respectful, etc.
Once picked as Homeroom All-Star, you will receive a certificate, you will be displayed on not only a classroom bulletin board, but also the bulletin board right outside of the middle school office. You will be taken to Wendy's for lunch as well, for a reward.
STAY TUNED FOR SEPTEMBER'S ALL-STAR - IT COULD BE YOU!!!
